Her birth was a perfect one, and the girl emerged from the womb healthy, but noticeably more quiet than her brother. Jessica, immediately reminded of her own mother's composure, gifted the newborn babe with her name, as well as her maiden name; she was given the name "Evangeline" as a blessing that she and the golden head of hair that would no doubt be as magnificent as her mother's would become the forerunner to more good news. And thus Dana Estella Evangeline Wayne was brought into the world. Dana spent the majority of her early life within the Wayne Estate, their parents having deemed it too risky for her to attend a normal school, where she might get picked on because her family was largely mutants. She was instead home-schooled by the kindest, most excellent tutors her parents could find. She excelled in anything she was taught, just as her brother did. However, this came with a price -devoid of any friends that weren't her brother, the employees, her parents, or television, Dana found herself getting lonely. This loneliness led to many things: the discovery of her natural talent of being able to throw her voice, a fascination/closet obsession with ventriloquism, and her subsequent study of woodwork and architecture, and, most importantly, the discovery of her mutant powers. When she was seven, Dana had been wandering around the house, looking for a good hiding spot for her game of hide-and-seek with Blake, when she happened upon a fork laying on the ground. Whether by an act of something divine or just plain coincidence, this fork happened to be right next to an power outlet. Inquisitive by nature, Dana decided to see what happened when one stuck a fork in an electrical outlet, having never been told the dangers of doing so beforehand. Thousands of volts of electricity was sent arching into her body, and the power of the entire estate flickered briefly. And that was when Dana knew she, like the rest of her family, had a special gift. Not long after that, Dana's still impressionable mind bore witness to the gift to human and mutantkind that was anime. She soon found herself sucked into a near-obsession with the art form, desperately wishing to copy the action heroes that she saw on television; her parents spent far more than a million dollars on their daughter's intrests, hiring martial artists to teach Dana how to Over the years, Dana picked up many skills and used well over a few million dollars of Wayne Corps' money to fund her own intrests, including her own chain of record shops.
