Alisa is a small girl with long white hair and pale skin. Some occasionally mistake her for an albino, but this is not the case. Due to how often she uses her power of invisibility, she simply does not tan very much and absorbs very little sun. A further testament to her not being albino is her deep blue eyes. Alisa never wears shoes, not even when people attempt to force her to do so. If forced to either leave or wear them, she would most often leave a place. As per clothes, she wears a frilly sleeveless silk dress.

Alisa was born and was, for the earliest years of her life, raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Her parents were both very loving and caring. They were both quite protective of her. Her father, Nicolaus worked at a local high school, and her mother, Alyssa, a well-renowned forensic scientist. Because of the nature of Alisa's mother's position, Alyssa was always traveling around the world. She'd be with the family for a month, and then set off for three months of work. This cycle would continue indefinitely. Because of this, Alisa was raised primarily by her father.

By the time Alisa was 6, her powers made themselves known. She could become invisible at will and make those around her invisible as well. While she enjoyed using this power, it worried her mother greatly, as she knew her daughter would be treated differently by the majority of the population. Her father, however, could relate to some extent being a mutant himself.

Regardless, Alisa's mother was able to convince her husband that they move to North Salem, where they believed there would be much less prejudice toward mutants and Alisa wouldn't have to hide her abilities.

Transparency: Alisa's cells produce a chemical called Perspitonin which is capable of "infecting" organic materials and rendering them transparent through molecular vibration. Perspitonin itself can spread rather quickly, however it has no affect on inorganic materials. In addition to simply producing the enzyme, Alisa can also manipulate it, as well as its movements in her own body and the bodies of others.

Invisibility: By manipulating the Perspitonin in her body, Alisa can render herself completely, or partially, invisible. Unfortunately, this ability has no power over inorganic materials, and thus, she is incapable of making her clothes invisible as well.
Infecting: Through physical contact, Alisa can affect another being with her unique enzyme which will then spread rapidly through their body, rendering them completely invisible. This can last for as long as five minutes after the initial infection. With a second touch, Alisa can also negate Perspitonin's effect in a person, causing them to become visible again.
